Nothing captured my eye as a three year old as something flying in the sky, especially a helicopter beating up wind. I flew with my dad every weekend in primary school, and couldn’t wait to take control. Loving the rotary wing side of aviation, I started my expeditions in 2003 after completing my tourism degree. Flew as Commercial Helicopter pilot as vehicle tracking, charter and eventually CFI at NAC helicopters at Rand airport.
Next adventure was game capture all over South Africa. Had the privilege to complete training on R66 at the Robinson Factory in Los Angeles, and Bell 407 factory safety course at Bell Helicopters in Fort Worth Texas. I always helped my students and colleagues to buy the right helicopter for their needs, and always worked along Mr Angus Money for many years, until I joined him permanently in 2016.
It is a privilege to demonstrate and fly with our clients to obtain the best helicopter for them. After around 6000 hours of flying it remains fun and nothing beats the joy of seeing the excitement in your clients eyes as they realize that they are flying the dream.
